Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag cut Bruno Fernandes' Sky Sports interview short last night.
The Portuguese was speaking to the television station after their 3-2 win over Newcastle United.
Fernandes was asked about his future at the club, which has been discussed in the British papers in recent days.
Speaking on Sky Sports, he said: "I will be [at United next term]. The club needs to want me. The club wants me to be a part of the future.
As I said always, I don't want to be a player that the club doesn't want to have. If for some reason, they don't want to have me, I will go. But if they want me, I will stay."
He was then dragged away by manager Ten Hag, as the Dutchman was getting ready to address the crowd from the centre circle of Old Trafford.
